let we the hapless stream along with calculated marchings- let we!
stir this forest's copper underbelly
with grave-robbing palms
with prey-seeking cries
though, we daren't find comfort here,
this brittle cradle of earth's isn't no place for even a one youngthing.

now i'm knowin i talk too much an i say so little-
no matter what ima be lonesome in my own brains
let we watch november run,
december too while we pump out bloodless veins-
and by we, i [nearly always] mean me

just put me

i am silent like the swans
you love, floating on the water
in pairs, necks intertwining.
"that is love," you sigh,
running your pianist fingers
through your hair.

Migration
We're drifting in the evening
dreaming with the leaves.
The autumn holds a moment
a portent in the eaves;
The season heaves
Brown skeletons are gleaming.
The clouds are only swallows
borrowed from bare trees.
The washing canvas sky
Dries with arrows of geese;
A watcher breathes
In cloudy gasps, and grows.

and her skeleton aches for different reasons every day.
the blood on her knees matches the blush on her cheeks

her liver is shutting down and she can't eat anymore
but the heart beat barely hurts
she looks into his pretty brown eyes and they're so
sad, so fucking sad she just wants to hold his fragile
face between her fingers but he's sand, he's water vapor
she blinks and he's barely there
he has scars like her, though his are less casu
